Supporting your son or daughter to make the choices that are right for them can be difficult. As a parent, you may feel you know what is best for them but are unsure you know of all the routes they could take. Or maybe you want them to explore their options and make their own decision.

I have a range of resources and techniques that I can use to support young people to show them their options, explore which would be best for them and coach them towards making a choice. This can be around topic such as:

  • Linking what they enjoy to career options

  • Identifying their skills

  • Creating a CV

  • Preparing for their first interview

  • Selecting GCSE options

  • Learning about apprenticeships

  • Understanding their decisions around their futures

  • Deciding whether an apprenticeship, college or sixth form is best for them

  • Selecting A Level options

  • Researching universities

  • Choosing the best course for them

  • Preparing for their university interview

... And so much more! Every student leaves their one to one with a personalised action plan of what they need to do to get to where they want to be. This will include resources, links and suggested opportunities to participate in.
